Master Address File (MAF)
Comprehensive address point file for the region. The normalized address data is a composition of imported data from regional counties and cities. Addresses are represented as individual points and are positioned inside or adjacent to taxlot parcels or on buildings within a parcel.
Geocoding, emergency dispatching, mailing lists, source data for MetroMap application.
Addresses within Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, and Washington County are updated on a weekly basis, while the rest are updated quarterly.

Registered to tax lots. Street center lines were digitized from aerial orthophotography at +/- 10 feet accuracy. Tax lots were fit to the street centerlines. Beaverton, Oregon City and Tigard planning areas were improved to +/- 5 feet accuracy. Multnomah County was created with coordinate geometry using better control.
Projection information (.prj file), compatible with ArcGIS 8.1, was added to the layer.

As part of the City of Portlands South Portland Addressing Project, old SW address points with leading zeroes in the new South sextant were removed, and new points with the S addresses were added in their place.

Implemented address changes associated with the renaming of streets in North and Northeast Portland as a part of the Columbia-Lombard Wayfinding Project.

The TLID field was reformatted for all Gresham address points to match other Multnomah County TLIDs and allow for proper joining to the RLIS Taxlots. Previously they were of the format of 1S3E08BA 1100 (missing the dash and leading zeros in the lot number). They are now all in the format of: 1S3E08BA -01100.

The LEADZERO field has been dropped. The field was maintained for addresses in South Portland prior to the readdressing project in 2020 and was no longer necessary.
